2. Metal Case
3 Also known as a Rotary Shaft Seal, Shaft Seal, Lip Seal, Elastomeric Lip Seal or any variation of these. It is a simple device for excluding dust, dirt, water or any other contaminant whilst retaining lubricant in rotary shaft equipment. Generally, it has been developed as a means of protecting the bearings of rotating shafts.

Its unique composition ensures a robust seal, capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions while preserving the integrity of the lubrication system. As technology continues to advance, the importance of such specialized components in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of modern machinery cannot be overstated.

3. Check for damage before installing seals
Lift out the rags without dropping dirt into the engine, bores or passages.
Summary
- A typical spark plug consists of a ceramic insulator, a central electrode, and a ground electrode. When an electric current is passed through the plug, it creates a high voltage arc between the central and ground electrodes. This arc ionizes the air-fuel mixture, creating a plasma that rapidly expands and pushes the piston down the cylinder, generating mechanical energy.
Its sealing edge comes in full contact with the shaft surface in order to provide excellent sealing performance.

Oil Seal Manufacturing: Processes and Considerations
Leather oil seals are commonly used for parts that are exposed to dirt and poor lubrication. The major advantage of this material is that it can function in cases where synthetic rubber cannot function. They are used for shafts that have rough surfaces that are more than what rubber seals can handle. This is because they are pre-lubricated and have the capacity to absorb liquids.
