- One of the key features of the F7RTC spark plug is its iridium construction. Iridium, a super-hard and durable metal, ensures a longer lifespan and resistance to wear, compared to traditional copper or platinum electrodes. It also allows for a smaller electrode gap, which can lead to a hotter, more stable spark, further optimizing ignition and overall engine performance.
- Oil seal in motor plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of the engine. The oil seal is a device that prevents the leakage of oil and other fluids in the motor. It is designed to create a seal between two parts of the motor to prevent the entry of contaminants and to keep the oil inside the motor's housing.
Table 5: The major special seals, their shapes, and their features- In conclusion, the GY6 spark plug is a critical component of any scooter or motorcycle equipped with this popular engine. By delivering a strong and consistent spark, the spark plug ignites the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, powering the engine and propelling the vehicle forward. Choosing the right spark plug and maintaining it properly are essential steps to ensure optimal engine performance and longevity. Keep your GY6 engine running smoothly by giving your spark plug the attention it deserves.
- 4. Ozone resistance High temperature rubber gaskets are also resistant to ozone, which is a common byproduct of electrical discharges. This property makes them suitable for use in environments where ozone is present.
- Silicone rubber, a synthetic elastomer, is derived from the combination of silicon, oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen. It possesses exceptional heat resistance, operating effectively in temperatures ranging from -100°C to 300°C (-148°F to 572°F), making it suitable for both high-temperature and low-temperature environments. This inherent thermal stability is one of the primary reasons why silicone rubber gasket sheets are favored over other materials.

The auto head gasket, also known as the cylinder head gasket, is a critical component in the engine that seals the cylinder head to the engine block. This gasket plays a pivotal role in maintaining the combustion chamber's integrity, preventing the leakage of coolant, oil, or combustion gases. A properly functioning auto head gasket is essential for ensuring optimal engine performance, preventing overheating, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the engine.

How to Choose the Right Oil Seal
Even the slightest chip or dent can cause contaminants to infiltrate your oil seal. If there are any scratches on the shaft, a leak path may develop, allowing the lubricant to drip. To protect the shaft from damage, wrap it in a mesh rubber screen and store it vertically in its compartment. This way, it can be shielded from potential cracking.
Always start by making sure the oil seal is facing the right direction. The oil seal must be positioned with its spring to the side of the medium to be sealed. The oil seal must then be pressed into the bore. It must fit tightly (H8 in the groove is recommended). Use appropriate tools for this, such as an impact socket set, to ensure that the force is applied evenly during pressing. The oil seal must never be hammered into the bore with brute force, but eased in.
