A warm bowl of chili is perfect after a long day of hiking. In your cast iron Dutch oven, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until soft. Add ground meat (or a meat substitute) and brown it thoroughly. Then, mix in canned tomatoes, kidney beans, chili spices, and simmer over the fire. This one-pot meal is rich in flavor and will warm you from the inside out.
Pour-point depressants: This additive has nothing to do the actual pouring of your oil. In fact, pour-point depressants help prevent the wax particles in the oil from hardening in cold conditions. As a result, the motor oil flows freely even in low, cold temperatures and the engine doesn’t need to work any harder to pump it.
Replacing the sump gasket
The perfect solution to this is to always use an oil seal that fits properly; the right size of the seal should be used. And in other cases, backup devices should be used to avoid the buildup of clearance gaps within the mating edges.
Seals, including oil seals, have undergone a great development in recent years and are totally unlike the original product. PTFE has taken over the oil seals market for modern engines mainly because traditional oil seals started causing more and more problems. Such as evaporation of chemical plasticisers from the elastomeric material, which eventually caused engine oil leakage. Now, the focus is more on durability and frequency of servicing.
